Everyone has unique struggles and life experiences that make them the expert on their own situation.
It’s not my place to assume I know what you’re going through, but rather to offer guidance and support to help you gain clarity and understanding. I don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach to therapy, as every person’s experience is different, but I’m here to help you find the path that is most authentic to your best self.
As a therapist, it’s really important to me that my services are available to everyone, especially for those who struggle to find time during regular work hours. I make sure to offer evening, late evening, and Sunday appointments to accommodate individuals who may find it challenging to attend therapy during traditional hours.
I use a person-centered, solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral approach to therapy, which involves identifying what you want for yourself in your life and then helping you to shift problematic thinking patterns or strategies that are creating roadblocks to your success. My specialties include anxiety, trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, OCD, anger, depression, bipolar, grief/loss, addiction, and more. I also offer EMDR therapy for clients seeking deeper transformation and healing from stubborn or negative effects of trauma or problematic memories.
In our work together, I value building rapport, trust, and a shared commitment to your progress and well-being. I believe that therapy sessions don’t always have to be heavy, and I try to inject levity and candor when possible. It’s important to me to create a safe space where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings, even those that may be difficult to express.
If you’re feeling nervous about finding the right therapist, know that you’re not alone. I’m here to help you navigate the process and find the support you need to cultivate a fulfilling and balanced life.
